Writing With Your Eyes Closed – Writing for Audio Dramas and Scripted Podcasts.

As a partner in PodSqod, a scripted podcast initiative, Christopher Sweeney has recently written, directed and co-produced the podcast pilots for Talking Time and Scary AF Campfire Stories. The pilot script for Scary AF was a Second Rounder in the Austin Film Festival. Christopher recently co-wrote the pilot script for the co-listening scripted podcast mystery/comedy/thriller series, Spector and Spectre, with Kimberley Ann Sparks, which went on to be a Semi-Finalist in the Roadmap Writers Podcast Competition.

Christopher co-created the digital comedy series La Junta, Sherlock@Home, and Women Are From Mars. His TV series, Parental Advisory, (Finalist, NSI Totally TV program) had a related bravoFACT short film produced. His scripts regularly place in internationally recognized screenwriting contests. He has written for the TV true crime docu-dramas If I Should Die and Fear Thy Neighbor.

Christopher is the author of six graphic novels and two leveled readers. His most recent graphic novel, Feeling Weird, deals with youth mental health. B.S., the live comedy series that he co-created, wrote and produced, ran for two years at the Second City. He very occasionally updates his humourous parenting blog, Pop Culture.
