Fake it ’till you Make it: a presentation on Presentation
Do you sweat when you’re handed a microphone? Do you open your mouth, not sure whether you’ll speak or squeak? Do shaky hands make your notes jitter?
Maybe not. Maybe you just want to make the best possible impression when you’re speaking to a room.
Either way, Rob Pirie wants you to know you’re not alone. We all get nervous sometimes. Even the ones who don’t show it! In this four-week class, Rob will share practical tips that can help you look and feel confident, even when you’re not. You’ll learn online, in the safety of your home, and reinforce that learning with exercises. Then, you and your classmates will meet with Rob in person for a chance to speak in front of a very special audience—each other!
P.S. This class will wrap up the week before the WCDR’s 30th anniversary celebration! It’s the perfect preparation if you want to share your work at the party!

About the Presenter:
Rob has been having people look at him for most of his adult life (and before). Finding his passion on stage at an early age, Rob has worked with thousands of kids as a director and drama teacher for more than 20 years. Using games and fun, he helped kids find confidence on stage and in life. As a Learning Specialist and Corporate Trainer for 8 years, he has provided training to hundreds of adults in various roles and capacities. And with 5 years of being a Dungeon Master, he is no stranger to using these skills to tell compelling stories. Rob is excited to share the strategies and practical tips that he has developed over his career to help you stand, speak and present as someone oozing with confidence, even if you have to fake it the whole time.
