How Authors Can Connect with Indie Bookstores
Writers of all levels and experience are invited to join us on Saturday, February 14th for a conversation with indie bookstore owner Samm Streiling. Samm will share insights on how authors can build meaningful connections with independent bookstores and get their books onto indie shelves.

Samm is the owner of Book Dragons Den, an independent brick and mortar bookstore specializing in fantasy, romance, thrillers, young adult, and children’s books. The shop also carries a selection of discounted titles and offers custom services such as book rebinding and sprayed edges. Many of the store’s magical accessories are handmade by Samm herself, and the shop is proudly woman owned.

Book Dragons Den is a welcoming space where book dragons of all ages can step into a world where magic meets love. Readers are invited to explore a carefully curated collection of fantasy romance, thrilling adventures, and magical stories filled with captivating characters and breathtaking settings.

Samm Streiling grew up in Toronto and has always been an avid reader. When they are not chasing after their toddler, Samm escapes reality by soaring through the skies of different worlds, riding dragons, adventuring with the fae, and collecting far too many book boyfriends along the way. A self-proclaimed little elf (pointy ears included), Samm is always happy to help you find your next perfect read, rebind your favourite books, or paint custom edges to make them truly magical.
