Kim Sparks – Writing for Video Games
Kimberley Ann Sparks is an award-winning writer who works in film, television, and video games. She started her career writing on children’s television series at Treehouse, TVO and BBC Kids. She has been working in video games for over 15 years, and she’s written on games such as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. She teaches screenwriting and video game writing courses at universities and colleges and is currently teaching at Toronto Metropolitan University.

In Crafting Satisfying Story Endings Using the Story Endings Matrix, Jes Trudel introduces her unique tool, the Story Endings Matrix, and details every possible type of story ending in literature (or any medium) and explains using examples of published works how each type of ending has been used to give young readers the satisfying endings they deserve. The workshop includes practical tips for ensuring you move forward with your story while always keeping the ending in mind.
Jes Trudel is a Canadian author, editor, and writing instructor based in Timmins, Ontario. She has written and presented for various outlets, including Children’s Book Insider, SCBWI, and BoldFace. She is Founder of WritingCommunity.ca.
