Hi there! My name is Sienna Ragbar and I am an eighteen year old Indo-Caribbean author reaching out to youth in similar situations as myself, seeking to provide self-help, guidance and expertise with identity and personal success. Through impactful stories, triumphs and passionate recounts of battles well-fought, I am excited to share with you my journey to better living and the realization of my place in the world.
I published my memoir titled “I Am Somebody” last summer at the age of seventeen. I am a high school student that is passionate about equality and I am pursuing a career in law. Throughout my life, I have faced tremendous opposition based on my pursuit of excellence and my differences. I hope to inspire other youth so that they may be equipped with the strength and the self-esteem to face similar challenges head-on, swimming instead of sinking when their potential is so much greater than they might believe. In a world where interconnectivity is increasing, it is imperative that coexistence and the acceptance of individuality is promoted. I want to be one of the individuals who makes a difference and who helps to effect this necessary change.
