The Lost Ones, is an atmospheric speculative dark fantasy that explores truth and identity within a town of secrets. Set in the Victorian town of Ravenfell, three teens race to unravel their town’s surreal and mysterious history before Halloween, to avoid a sinister fate.

Summary:

In October 1994, two of Ravenfell’s founders vanished: Samara Bennet and Castor Wells. Sixteen years later, most have moved on, except Kathryn Bennet. As the town retells founding story like a fairytale, Kathryn is drawn to it, convinced its key to finding their grandparents.

When Kathryn discovers a mysterious arch in the woods from her dreams, an old photo album appears on her sixteenth birthday. It sends her spiralling into new theories, much to the frustration of her best friend, Benjamin Wells, who remains suspicious of a darker town-wide cover-up.

As they dig deeper for the truth, their world flickers and shifts, and their parents begin acting strange. When reality and memory begin blurring together, Benjamin, Kathryn, and their friend Delaney are left to face a disturbing truth: Ravenfell’s past is far more twisted than they thought.

With Halloween approaching, a lingering darkness in the shadows watches – drawn to the strange pull between Benjamin and Kathryn that’s testing the boundaries of their lifelong friendship. Soon the three friends are left to question not only their identities, but the truth of sixteen years ago. Are Samara and Castor the only lost ones?
