It’s that time of year again—this is the meeting where we focus on YOU and your project! The WCDR is pleased to invite you to our Blue Pencil meeting on Saturday, May 9, 2022.

What’s a Blue Pencil Meeting?

• Before the meeting*, you will send in three pages of writing. We will assign you to a group of people working on projects that are similar in type or genre. Each group will have a mentor, chosen for their expertise and their ability to provide feedback.
• Before the meeting, you and your group mates will read each other’s work—and, of course, the mentor will review each piece carefully.
• During the WCDR meeting on May 9, we will break into our small groups so that everyone can receive constructive, helpful feedback on their pages.

* Work must be submitted by April 25. This opportunity is open to WCDR members only, and members must be registered for the May meeting. For more information, or to send your submission, email speaker@wcdr.info.

Just want to observe, but don’t want to send in work? No problem! Observers are more than welcome, and can sign up until two days before the meeting.
