Join us for our Monthly Networking Meeting (MNM) on September 12 featuring our guest speaker, Vikki VanSickle!

This workshop looks at how to promote your book in today’s digital world. We’ll talk about the importance of author newsletters, and ways writers can use social media, to not only get the word out about their books, but also to build an audience while staying authentic to who they are. Whether you’re traditionally published, self-published, or considering your options, this session will give you practical knowledge for promoting your work, connecting with readers, and making the process feel a little more fun.

About the Speaker

Vikki VanSickle is the author of many acclaimed picture books and novels for children and teens, including If I Had a Gryphon, Mother Boo, P.S. Tell No One, The Lightning Circle, and the Red Maple Award-winning, The Winnowing. She has worked as a bookseller and spent twelve years as a publishing professional at Harper Collins Canada and Penguin Random House Canada. Her first adult novel, THE MYSTIC AND THE MISSING GIRL, was published this fall. In addition to writing, Vikki curates and hosts a monthly book segment for CTV Your Morning.
