Three Christmas Stories

By Rick Ferguson

Three Christmas Stories—an anthology of three holiday-themed family-based tales.

Christmas on TV

Jennifer Newton is a journalist who views Christmas as a continuous parade of parties and is required to interview Albert Ferris, a television producer presenting a documentary about the plight of the homeless during the holiday season. Their lives become intertwined with the appearance of a mysterious woman named ‘Bella’. Together, they investigate a long-lost televised version of a stage play version of Dickens’s A Christmas Carol, which brings their families together in an unexpected way. Solving the mystery leads to a conclusion even Dickens wouldn’t have predicted.

Snowed Inn at Christmas

Steven Caulfield’s favourite time of year is Christmas—at least it was until his business began coming between himself and his family as the holiday season approaches. A snowstorm interrupts a Christmas Eve trip to the cottage, causing Steven and his daughter to take refuge at a country inn. His experience at the mysterious inn helps him rediscover his love for his family and Christmas.

Driving Home for Christmas

Seven-year-old Junior Clarke only wants two things for Christmas: for his father to find a job and for the family to spend Christmas together. His father, Winston, has been unemployed for months. A unique job opportunity presents itself, but it means Winston will be away from his family until after Christmas. The family needs money to pay for a medical procedure for Junior. Will Winston be able to provide for the family, but still be able to be home in time to celebrate Christmas with his family?
